Q: What makes
you different from any other college planning
company? |
 |
Our
services are not new and untried. Our SAT/ACT Test
prep progran has been in use for over 19 years and
is extremely successful at raising students' test
scores by as much as 800 points. Our College
Majors and Career Profile Test is one of the best
anywhere and has been perfected over 40 years of
use and is even required in the NHL and
by MLB. When you add all of our other
programs up and then include our
incredible access to our Collegiate
Advisors...other programs just don't
compare.

 |
Q:
How long have you been in business? |
 |
All
of the partners of College Financial Services have
been in the education industry for over 20 years.
College Financial Services was established in
early 2006, with the products we use being in
service for 19 and 40 years respectively. Our
founders, after being involved with several
educational companies, saw a need that the other
companies in this industry were not fulfilling,
namely collegiate advisors who take you by the
hand and lead you through this process every step
of the way. So in 2006, after clearing
our services through such people as Robert W.
Sweet Jr., who was personally appointed by
President Ronald Reagan as Deputy Director of the
National Institute of Education, and later
appointed by President George Bush as
Administrator of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention, our founders formed and
launched College Financial Services. Planning
for college is a huge investment of time and
money which is why choosing a
stable company with strong support
is key. At College Financial
Services we feel that no one should have to
go it alone.

 |
Q: What does
College Financial Services sell? |
 |
A
comprehensive set of programs designed to help
students learn and master the 6 areas that are
crucial for getting admitted into college. We help
students raise their SAT and ACT scores, their
GPA, and we help them decide not only which major
to choose...but which major is actually right for
them! We educate students and parents about
the college planning and admission process, with
its main focus on mentoring families about
thousands of financial aid and academic
opportunities. see <<products>>
for a full description of our
products.

 |
Q: What if our
student is in 7th, 8th or 9th grade? Is there
an annual renewal cost the family must pay to
continue using the program's benefits all the way
through their senior year and
beyond? |
 |
One
fee covers everything - no extra fees or renewal
fees are required or charged by College
Financial Services, regardless of how early or
late in the academic process they enroll in
the program. This way a family who
enrolls in the program in the 8th grade
can use it throughout high school to
improve study skills and prepare for their
university level education without additional cost
or concerns of future price increases.
|
 |
Q: When is a
student/family finally done with the
program? |
 |
Recent
enhancements to the College Financial Services
program allow enrollees to utilize the program
through the completion of their undergraduate
college education. We work with students each year
to resubmit their financial aid applications to
the government using their current financial data.
|

complaints, which may be the most important factor
for consumers.
|
 |

leading national educational organizations say
about the program? |

Q: Is there a
typical type of student or family that enrolls in
the program? |
 |
College
Financial Services students are as diverse as the
nation's population and attend a variety of
educational institutions including Ivy League
universities, private colleges and state schools.
No particular ethnic, socio-economic, cultural,
religious, or regional groups are identified as
potential clients; rather, any student who is
truly qualified to go to college in terms of work
ethic, high school achievements, and particular
abilities is a potential College Financial
Services client. Those students who are not yet
ready to go to college can also learn how to
prepare for the application
process.
